The new Apple and Adobe promotion for the Intel Mac optimized Creative Suite 3 reveals that quad-core Intel Macs are on the way: "Every new Mac features powerful dual-core or quad-core Intel processors, the world’s most advanced operating system, and more." That sounds pretty well for all ressource consuming users of Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere or After Effects. But when will these quad-core Macs be available?

Update: The text within the US and the UK store as been changed to "dual-core or quad-core Intel processing", although the German version still says "Dual-Core oder Quad-Core Intel Prozessoren". Looks, like a back padelling manover, to argue that two dual-core processors means quad-core processing. Let’s see what is coming next 😉
